CASS is directed by a team which spans each of its three managing partners, making up the Healthy Living Consortium. CASS also receives advice and support from a Steering Group made up of several community organisations from across Bristol, ensuring our work is effective across the many diverse communities in the city.
When the new Bristol Mental Health services were developed and it was clear there was an opportunity to deliver a community-facing, non-clinical service, the Healthy Living Consortium jumped at the chance!
The three grass-roots organisations making up the Healthy Living Consortium, Wellspring Settlement, Southmead Development Trust and Knowle West Health Park, have strong connections within their localities and with the broader voluntary and community sector, along with a network of equalities and faith groups in Bristol. With the support of Stand Against Racism & Inequality (SARI), they built a consultative structure to guide this innovative service and now oversee CASS’s delivery with the support of the service commissioners and the Steering Group.
